b. 1980 Bangkok, Thailand
Lives and works in Bangkok, Thailand

Painting

Growing up in Sathorn—a green area in Bangkok once known as a garden grove, Supmanee developed an affinity to nature which lead into her work as a research architect focused on environment quality in buildings and sustainable design.

Transitioning into art in 2011 after a decade in architecture, Supmanee’s work is a fusion of her architectural background, environmental consciousness, and artistic exploration, generating intricate patterns informed by observations of human interactions with the natural world. Paint interplays with water to create abstract phenomena on canvas that delve into subconscious stories and microcosmic perspectives confronting contemporary environmental interests.
